Combat Rescue Helicopter completes preliminary design review

The Air Force completed the preliminary design review for its next-generation Combat Rescue Helicopter on schedule, service officials confirmed this week. The air vehicle PDR was completed April 22, Air Force spokesman Maj. Rob Leese said in an April 25 email to Inside the Air Force. The program will satisfy the certification requirement following the air vehicle PDR, and a training system PDR is scheduled for August.
