Marine Corps awaiting analysis of risks identified from MTVR system

The Marine Corps is awaiting analysis on safety risks identified from its urgent acquisition of the Automatic Fire Extinguishing System for the Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement, according to the service. In September 2014, the Defense Department Inspector General published a report in response to allegations made to the Defense Hotline about the urgent acquisition of the AFES for the MTVR.
