Navy is designing a replacement emergency oxygen system for the F/A-18

Naval Air Systems Command is planning to design a replacement emergency oxygen system for the F/A-18 fleet that will provide higher volume and pressure compared to the existing system, according to a presolicitation. On April 26, NAVAIR issued a presolicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities website to Martin-Baker Aircraft Co. in England to modify the Navy Aircrew Common Ejection Seat that will incorporate the new emergency oxygen system design.
