Navy seeks bids for LCS mission modules contract, pushes award to 2017

The Navy is seeking proposals from industry for a follow-on contract for Littoral Combat Ship mission modules production and support, but the service has delayed the award until 2017. The request for proposals for the LCS Mission Modules (MM) Design Engineering, Production, and Sustainment (DEP&S) contract was released Aug. 9 on the Federal Business Opportunities website.
