Plan For Added Firepower In Army Reconnaissance Units Taking Shape

A plan to provide more combat capability to Army reconnaissance forces is beginning to emerge as the expectation that U.S. forces will have to "fight for information" in future conflicts takes hold in service doctrine and a key inter-service warfighting concept unveiled earlier this year.
