As UCLASS Program Gets Underway, Navy Still Settling On Its Role

The Navy is still about eight years away from fielding the Unmanned Carrier-Launched Airborne Surveillance and Strike (UCLASS) aircraft, but it is still unclear exactly what role the aircraft will play in the field -- something the service likely will have to decide within the next year or so, according to an analyst.
