The Army is keeping a watchful eye on commercially available software for infiltrating computer networks, as officials claim any such tools the service would use for itself are made by the U.S. government. Applications for breaking into networks to steal information or to hijack targeted computers and smartphones without their owners' knowledge are now widely available on the Internet.
