Military vehicle manufacturers are expected to showcase their offerings for an increasingly tight Army market in Washington this week, with some companies basing their demonstrators on guesstimates of what the service may want. Northrop Grumman, for example, invited media representatives attending this year's Association of the United States Army conference, running from Oct. 12-14, to view its proposal for a light reconnaissance vehicle that offers space for six passengers and their gear.
