DOD IG Auditing SOCOM's Sensitive Equipment For Accountability

The Defense Department inspector general is conducting an audit of U.S. Special Operations Command's "sensitive equipment," according to a July 27 memo. The IG's objective is to make sure SOCOM is "properly accounting for sensitive equipment," according to the memo, signed by Carol Gorman, assistant inspector general for readiness and cyber operations.
