Ball Aerospace grows D.C. footprint

Ball Aerospace said today it is increasing its presence in the Washington metro area after purchasing engineering cyber firm Wavefront Technologies.

"The new Ball team will make the move to a larger location in Columbia, Maryland, this summer," the company said.

Additionally, Ball said it is hiring for the Maryland location, seeking specialists in systems engineering, software development, cybersecurity, intelligence analysis and computer science.
