CSRA said today that Mike Lawrie will no longer be chairman of CSRA's board of directors, effective Aug. 9.

Nancy Killefer, CSRA's lead independent director and director emeritus at McKinsey & Company, has been elected to succeed Lawrie, the company announced.

CSRA was created last year by combining Computer Sciences Corp.'s U.S. public sector business with SRA International.

Lawrie remains chairman, president and CEO of CSC, which last month announced a plan to merge with Hewlett Packard Enterprise's enterprise services unit.
