Air Force Estimates $443M Total Cost Growth In Raytheon-Led GPS OCX Program

A move last summer by the Air Force and Raytheon to recalibrate the scope of the development effort for the Global Positioning System III Operational Control Segment will bring the estimated total cost for the next-generation satellite control system to $3.9 billion, a nearly 15 percent increase compared to last year.
