Key decisions due soon for next-gen Army helicopters

ATLANTA -- The Army’s plan to overhaul its aviation platforms is nearing a critical point, according to a program official. Rich Kretzschmar, program manager for Improved Turbine Engine Program/Future Vertical Lift, told Inside the Army on April 29 that the Army Requirements Oversight Council is set to consider FVL on June 6.
