Army, Senate authorizers at odds over WIN-T

As the Senate Armed Services Committee calls into question the efficacy of the Army's Warfighter Information Network-Tactical, the service remains committed to improving the system, according to a spokesman. A report accompanying the committee's fiscal year 2017 defense policy bill references "many problems with WIN-T," particularly with respect to Increment 2. The report states that "the Army is reassessing the total requirement and determining a new course of action in light of" problems with connectivity and integration onto armored vehicles...
