Army delays operational testing for PIM until October, slips other program milestones

The Army has delayed until October the start of operational testing -- originally slated to commence in June -- for the $8 billion Paladin Integrated Management program due to earlier quality control issues with the engine. Consequently, the program has also slipped the target dates for all other remaining major acquisition milestones in its schedule. All of these changes fall within the schedule cushion established in the original program and the Army expects forthcoming milestones will be accomplished without breaching...
