DOD IG to examine JAGM procurement

The Pentagon's inspector general is examining the department's procurement of the successor to the Longbow and Hellfire missiles, according to a recently released notice. In an Aug. 17 memorandum , the IG announced plans to conduct an audit "to determine whether the Joint Attack Munition Systems Project Office has adequately assessed the affordability of the Joint Air-to-Ground Missile Program."
