The Pentagon must revamp its acquisition system by emulating the way the Government Accountability Office routinely identifies problems, according to a congressional report due out today. The recommendation from the House Panel on Defense Acquisition Reform, which is assessing how the Defense Department buys weapons, equipment and IT systems, will be unveiled in the group's interim report.
