AeroVironment unveils family of next-gen loitering missile systems

AeroVironment officials yesterday unveiled the company’s new next-generation loitering missile, including a new system with extended endurance and multipurpose, anti-armor munition capabilities. The Switchblade 600 loitering missile is a man-portable solution that provides precision strike capabilities via an anti-armor warhead for aerial, ground and maritime missions. The system has an endurance of 40 minutes and has demonstrated a 40 km target standoff range.
