Air Force to advance AI research, startup outreach with MIT partnership

The Air Force has started a new partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to bolster outreach to startup companies and advance artificial intelligence solutions for decision support, condition-based maintenance, medical readiness and disaster response. The service will invest $15 million in the AI Accelerator per year over a five-year period as part of a cooperative agreement signed May 17.
