Air Force awards Lockheed C-130J multiyear deal worth $5.3B through 2020

With a long-awaited $1 billion multiyear contract in hand to deliver 32 C-130J aircraft, Lockheed Martin is poised to sustain its Hercules production line at least through the end of the decade. The contract is the first cut of a larger $5.3 billion deal to deliver 78 C-130J airlifters through 2020.
