Air Force Cost-Savings Initiatives Unaffected By War On Terrorism

Seven major cost-savings initiatives the Air Force first considered more than a year ago have not been affected by the war on terrorism, but their schedules have been significantly delayed in some cases, according to information provided to today. Two of the savings plans, which were conceived as fiscal year 2002 initiatives, made it into that year's budget.
