Air Force experimental small launch vehicle fails in flight

An experimental satellite launcher carrying 13 cubesats failed about a minute into its late-night Nov. 3 flight from a Hawaii launch range. The spacecraft lifted off from the Pacific Missile Range Facility at Barking Sands Kauai, Hawaii, around 10:45 p.m. Easter Standard Time. The launcher was the centerpiece of the Air Force's Operationally Responsive Space-4 mission.
