Air Force Finalizes Negotiations For Follow-on AMRAAM Production

The Air Force expects to award Raytheon a follow-on production contract for AIM-120 air-combat missiles within days after recently concluding negotiations for the next three annual buys. The Lot 28 award would move the latest version of the Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM), the AIM-120D, into full-rate production after a series of operational tests in 2014.
