Air Force halts AOC 10.2 development, citing insufficient FY-17 funds

The Air Force this week issued a stop-work order for the beleaguered Air Operations Center Weapon System 10.2 upgrade program due to insufficient funds, according to a service spokeswoman. On April 19, the Air Force told prime contractor Northrop Grumman to indefinitely stop developing the war planning network because the service lacks money to cover unforeseen costs following a critical change decision last fall, Bloomberg first reported April 20.
