Air Force launches three-phased ABMS strategy, projects cost at $648M through FY-24

The Air Force is launching a three-phased strategy for its new Advanced Battle Management System, a family of systems that will use data from separate sensors to provide battle management and command-and-control capability. ABMS requires $648 million in research and development funding over the next five years, according to the Air Force's FY-20 request.
