Air Force releases RFP for GBSD engineering and manufacturing development phase

The Air Force has released a request for proposals for the engineering and manufacturing development phase of the service's intercontinental ballistic missile replacement system. According to an announcement posted on the Air Force website , the two contractors for the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent program's ongoing technology maturation and risk-reduction phase, Boeing and Northrop Grumman, will both compete for the EMD contract.
