Air Force Requests $190M Reprogramming For Hellfire Missiles Used Against ISIS

The Air Force wants to reprogram $190 million in Overseas Contingency Operations funding to boost its inventory of Predator Hellfire missiles in support of operations in Iraq and Syria. The proposal , which was approved by the Defense Department Feb. 24 and posted March 30 to the DOD comptroller's website, would fund 1,900 additional missiles needed "due to high operational demand and low quantities of Predator Hellfire missiles in the Air Force inventory."
