Air Force Secretary: Service To Divest C-27J Aircraft

The Air Force secretary told reporters today that the service will likely stick to its plan to initiate divestment of all of its C-27J aircraft in fiscal year 2013. The Air Force, in its FY-13 budget request, recommended reducing its force structure by 287 aircraft, which would include retiring or divesting all of its 21 C-27Js.
