Air Force Starts Spending Kosovo Emergency Money

The Air Force has begun spending slightly more than $2 billion it has received from a Kosovo emergency supplemental bill Congress approved last May, according to an Air Force spokesman. The money is part of an $11.6 billion bill Congress passed to cover the costs of the Kosovo air war and to shore up the services' readiness accounts.
