Air Force updates Congress on enlisted RQ-4 pilots, RPA job prospects

The Air Force is on track to employ 100 enlisted airmen as RQ-4 Global Hawk pilots by March 2020, the service told congressional leaders in a report last month. In May, three enlisted pilots became the first to graduate from initial flight training, remotely piloted aircraft instrument qualification and fundamentals training courses. Those pilots then moved to Beale Air Force Base, CA, to qualify on Northrop Grumman's Global Hawk. Eight more airmen are on track to finish the pilot program...
