Aldridge Reviews V-22, Clearing Way for Navy Decision to Resume Flight Tests

Pentagon acquisition czar Pete Aldridge held a meeting to review the V-22 Osprey program today, clearing the way for the Navy to officially decide to resume flight testing of the aircraft for the first time since December 2000, sources said. The Defense Acquisition Board meeting was an opportunity for Aldridge to review the V-22 program one more time before the planned resumption of flight testing in mid May.
