The Defense Department today awarded humvee maker AM General a contract for new trucks that could be worth more than $2.3 billion. The six-year contract, according to a Defense Department announcement, is worth $191.9 million initially, "with an estimated cumulative total of $2,381,229,105 if all options are exercised."
