Appropriators nearly double FMTV funding, slash AMPV

The Army will receive nearly double the funding it requested in fiscal year 2021 for the Family of Medium Technical Vehicles under an omnibus appropriations bill Congress passed on the evening of Dec. 21. The Army will receive $181 million to procure the vehicles, compared to $95 million the service originally requested.
