Appropriators offer DCGS more modernization money, request future plan

Senate appropriators want to add $92.3 million to modernize the Air Force's Distributed Common Ground System on top of the program's fiscal year 2018 funding request. That boost includes $81.3 million in "other procurement" for a total of $259.7 million, $2 million toward "intelligence advanced development" for a total of $7.7 million and another $9 million to bring the DCGS open architecture and signals intelligence integration funding line to $36.5 million, according to the Senate Appropriations Committee chairman's mark of...
