Army agrees to buy six more advanced Chinooks from Boeing

The Army will buy six additional upgraded Chinook helicopters for special operations from Boeing as part of a $246 million contract, Boeing announced late last month. The announcement came before Congress approved a $252 million increase in Chinook procurement funding for the 2022 fiscal year in its annual fiscal authorization bill.
