Army Awards $454 Million Contract for Online Distance Learning Program

PricewaterhouseCoopers today won a $454 million contract for the Army's "University Access Online" program, the Defense Department announced. The university online program is also known as the service's distance learning initiative, designed to provide soldiers "with easy access to courses leading to post-secondary degrees and vocational-technical certifications via online education," DOD stated.
