Army awards BAE $228 million contract for PIM

The Army has awarded the third and final contract with BAE Systems for low-rate initial production of the Paladin Integrated Management system's M109A7 self-propelled howitzer and M992A3 ammunition carrier vehicles, with the option to purchase full-rate production vehicles beginning in fiscal year 2018.
