Army Awards Contract for Continued Excalibur Artillery Projectile Development

The Army last week awarded Raytheon a $100 million contract modification for continued development of the Excalibur precision-guided artillery projectile. The 155-millimeter "family" of munitions is designed to increase the range and accuracy of Army and Marine Corps howitzers.
