Army to begin training first SFAB in August

The Army's first security force assistance brigade will begin training in August with 16 weeks of immersive language coursework, according to the unit's commander. Col. Scott Jackson said during a June 19 interview the first of the new units will go through a 13-month individual training program, with a total average training time of 18 months.
