Army calls for counter UAS technologies

The Army is taking another step in its ongoing effort to bolster the capacity to counter unmanned aerial systems. The project directorate for counter-rockets, artillery and mortars has been "tasked . . . to develop a counter unmanned aerial system capability in support of a validated Joint Urgent Operational Need," according to a solicitation posted March 2 on Federal Business Opportunities.
