Army chief approves new force structure design

The Army's chief of staff a few weeks ago approved a new design for force structure called the "AimPoint Force," based on the service's multidomain operations concept. Futures and Concepts Center Director Lt. Gen. Eric Wesley, who is in charge of the design, told reporters via telephone today AimPoint Force is the logical next step after the MDO concept to describe what the force needs to look like to fight near-peer competitors, tailored to both Europe and the Indo-Pacific region...
