Army cuts JLTV, AMPV funding

Some of the Army's newest ground vehicles would have their funding slashed under the fiscal year 2022 budget request released today by the Biden administration, as the Army seeks to cut procurement costs while protecting modernization funding. The Joint Light Tactical Vehicle program would receive $575 million in procurement funding under the proposed budget.
