Army To End EMARSS After Completion Of Four Aircraft

The Army plans to end its Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance and Surveillance System (EMARSS) spy plane program after it builds four engineering and manufacturing development aircraft, the service's deputy chief of staff, Lt. Gen. Robert Lennox, said today. At the Association of the U.S. Army's annual conference in Washington, Lennox told reporters the service was in the process of shifting reliance to the Air Force Liberty fleet over time.
