Army Engineers Award $300 Million Environmental Cleanup Contract

Conti Environmental has been awarded a contract that could be worth up to $300 million for hazardous, toxic and radioactive waste remediation at military and civilian agencies, the Defense Department announced today. The Army Corps of Engineers awarded the deal to the South Plainfield, NJ-based company. Conti beat out seven other bidders for the lucrative contract.
