Army gauging industry interest in defensive cyber

The Army is working to identify industry partners for forthcoming efforts to develop defensive cyber capabilities, according to a notice on Federal Business Opportunities. The March 3 notice was issued by the product manager for defensive cyber operations, housed within the Army's program executive office for enterprise information systems. Army senior leaders have repeatedly emphasized the need to augment the service's offensive and defensive cyber capabilities, particularly at the tactical level.
