Army: Increment 1 To Move Into Low-Rate Initial Production

The Army formally announced today that the Defense Acquisition Board has moved one brigade's set of the first increment of its brigade combat team modernization into low-rate initial production. Inside the Army first reported the DAB's approval earlier this week. According to a press release issued by the service today, the Dec. 22 review "was a holistic review of maturity, requirements, testing and evaluation and production plans for Increment 1 capabilities."
