Army leaders detail new readiness and modernization model

Army officials at the Association of the U.S. Army's annual conference last week publicly announced a new force employment model to be implemented across the entire service, called the Regionally Aligned Readiness and Modernization Model, or ReARMM. The model will orient the force in line with regional priorities. ReARMM "is a flexible, predictable force generation process that will create an Army that is regionally and functionally capable of supporting the Nation's Defense Strategy (NDS)," according to an Army press release...
