Army leveraging commercial satellites 'high priority work' for next network set

The Army is looking at leveraging commercial satellites in its next integrated tactical network set as it focuses on capacity, resiliency and convergence, according to an Army official. Low-earth orbits and mid-earth orbits "are definitely high-interest, high-priority work that we're looking at within the next capability set," Col.
