Army Materiel, Acquisition Leaders Team Up to Improve Efficiency

The leaders of the Army's acquisition and logistics communities are working together to ensure efficiency in providing materiel for the service, particularly as the Army looks toward Afghanistan, a senior official said today. Gen. Ann Dunwoody, commanding general of Army Materiel Command, said she recently traveled to Afghanistan with Dean Popps, the Army acquisition executive.
