Army Network CFT requesting $40M for new project in FY-20

The Army's network cross-functional team is planning to start a new network unification program in fiscal year 2020, requesting a total of $39.6 million to modernize the service's tactical network. The new program, included in the service's research, development, test and evaluation budget justification books , encompasses five funding lines: interoperability, command post mobility/survivability, Common Operating Environment, network technology maturation initiatives and the integrated tactical network/enterprise network.
